The Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company is soliciting public feedback on their proposed changes to accommodate multi-hundred metre cruise ships in Dun Laoghaire Harbour. The core aspects of these changes, from a marine point of view, are:
- Dredging a deeper channel into the harbour
- Construction of a ~435 metre pier from just west of the Stena facility, extending towards the harbour mouth
- Upgrading the shore facilities around the Stena facility
