The Volvo Dun Laoghaire Regatta is almost upon us and we need to be ready! We are looking for members to volunteer their time on shore (the water based activities are covered) before, during and after the regatta to make DMYC’s contribution to this huge regatta a success. We have learnt from our own 50th Celebrations last weekend that the greater the number of hands available the easier the load – so please put you name down for even a few hours!

I know some of you will be away sailing or already involved either volunteering or participating (for which many thanks) but for those who are not here is an opportunity for the DMYC to show what we can do for our selves and our fellow sailors.
Can all members note that there is to be no parking on the slip at the front of the building for the duration of the regatta. This is reserved for the Volvo Sponsors car and the delivery of catering items.
