Celebrate the start of the 2025 sailing season with friends at the Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club on Saturday 22nd of March, at 6:30 pm.

We will have the pleasure of welcoming Pamela Lee as our guest speaker on the night. Pam is an Irish sailor competing at the top level of Ocean Racing. She will share an insight into the world of French Professional Offshore Racing and all her achievements in her impressive career to date.
Pam learnt to sail in this club with her father, Norman Lee, a long-time member. Pam is now based in France carving out a successful career as a professional racer, including taking part as skipper in the Transac Jacques Vabre. In 2020 she set three world records by sailing around Ireland. She is planning to take on the Ocean Race in 2026 on board an IMOCA 60.
‘I have many fond memories of being in the DMYC on weekends, probably helping Dad de-rig his GP14 after frostbites. And sailing out of Dun Laoghaire Harbour is what seemed to me like ‘wild storms’. So I’m really looking forward to sharing an evening with the club members’ – Pam
