Sailing Instructions.

GENERAL INFORMATION.

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP

All Helmsmen and their crews competing in the Race will be Temporary Members of the Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club on the day of the Race and will be bound by the rules of the Club. The Club reserves the right to withdraw such Temporary Membership.

The Flag Officers and Committee of the Dun Laoghaire Motor Yacht Club wish to express their gratitude for the assistance rendered by: The Irish Sailing Association, Dublin Bay Sailing Club, and to Captain Simon Coates, Harbour Master Dun Laoghaire, for facilities provided.

PRIZES

First prize will be awarded in classes in which there are two or more boats entered, and in addition, second and third prizes will be awarded when there are 5 and 7 or more entrants respectively.

Additional Notes

Pier Mark may not be present in Dublin Bay; it was apparently towed away by a visiting ship. The Committee Vessel will be on channel 68, and approximately on the rhumb line from the harbour entrance to the Kish Lighthouse.
