NYE Dinner 2014
As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, we kicked off the year by saying goodbye to 2014. We’d like to thank John Mac Aree for his hard work organising the event; Karin, Stephen and other committee members for their support; Fiona for the good food; everyone who donated spot prizes for our table quiz; Duncan for MCing the table quiz so John could eat his dinner; and everyone who attended.

“Bob Geldof Spirit of Sailing” Memorial Award
A new annual award to recognise the outstanding contribution by junior sailors was launched yesterday by Bob Geldof KBE at the DYMC. The DMYC “Bob Geldof Spirit of Sailing” Memorial Award is named in honour of the late Bob Geldof, father of Bob Geldof KBE.
